Barcelona in advanced Messi talks, Liverpool set eyes on Manchester United target

The World Cup-winning star made his name while turning out for Barcelona, a club he played for for 21 years. He won all the club trophies while at Camp Nou, but his last two years were disappointing before he made the switch to PSG.
At the international level, he won the Copa America and the World Cup to crown his outstanding career. His return to Barcelona is set to be welcome news for the club's fans.

But his return could be hampered by the current financial challenges the club is undergoing.
Antonio Silva
Meanwhile, Liverpool are eyeing the signing of Benfica's defender Antonio Silva, who is also reportedly on Manchester United's radar.
Silva has established himself as a promising footballer in Europe, and big clubs are said to be interested in him. Reports claim that the Reds have already sent scouts to watch him in action.
The Merseysiders are, however, said not to have made a formal approach for the Benfica star. The central defender has a £77 million release clause in his contract, and it remains to be seen which English club will eventually win the race to bring him to the Premier League.
