BAL Finals: Navio, Forest Whitaker excite Kigali

The championships have attracted several A-list celebrities and sports legends from around the world.

Senegal’s AS Douanes and Egyptian champions AL Ahly face off in the grand finale. 

Navio was spotted at the BK Arena during the third-place game between Petro De Luanda and Stade Malien.

His presence elicited excitement at the venue as he enjoyed VIP treatment rubbing shoulders with multi-award-winning actor Whitaker of the ‘Last King of Scotland’ fame in Uganda.

The American star was also briefly in Uganda earlier this week.

He is the CEO of Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative (WPDI), a non-profit organization that operates in Northern Uganda and Karamoja in community-based activities and peace projects.

Other A-listers in Kigali include National Basketball Association legends and executives.
