Just 24 hours after Ajibade’s visit, Barcelona’s Oshoala became the next to spend time with the Ikenne side.
The 28-year-old’s visit was announced by the Sky Blues who took to their social media account to share the news.
“Look who we’ve got here, Agba baller herself,” Remo Stars stated in a post on their official X.com account on Thursday afternoon.
Oshoala’s visit also saw her share moments with club President Kunle Soname, who was excited to welcome the world cup star to his office.
“Our club president, Hon. Kunle Soname OFR on Thursday hosted Super Falcons forward, @AsisatOshoala on a courtesy visit,” Remp added.
Oshoala at the FIFAWWC
Super Falcons and Oshoala had a credible journey at the ninth FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the Barcelona striker making history.
Oshoala played a key role in Nigeria’s run to the round of 16 after a memorable outing and goal against co-hosts Australia in the group stage.
She came off the bench to net a decisive winner as the Falcons shocked the Maltidas en route to a stunning 3-2 win that saw them join the Aussies to qualify from Group B.
The goal against Australia saw Oshoala become the first and only African to score three goals at the FIFAWWC.
