Mourinho, who won three Premier League titles with Chelsea, and Champions Leagues with FC Porto, and Inter Milan was not left out completely, as Arteta found room for him in the 'master tactician slot'

Arteta picks GOAT managers

Speaking to GOAL, he said: "I'm going to go to Jose, master tactician, I'm going to put him in there. The way he motivated the players, the way he made them feel that the world was against them.

Arteta selected three GOATs: Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, and Sir Alex Ferguson.

When explaining his picks, he said: "I'm going to take him [Ancelotti] to the GOAT category.

 "In my opinion, he's done it in many different countries with very different cultures and types of clubs... for me, he's got it all!" 

Arteta also acknowledged Sir Alex Ferguson for his managerial achievements, specifically highlighting his role in rebuilding Manchester United from the ground up after he was appointed.
