Arsenal star Jurrien Timber shares positive injury update as he begins recovery process
During his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest, Timber was forced from the pitch due to an off-the-ball injury.
The Netherlands international had to undergo surgery on his knee and he’s not expected to return till next year.
Timber’s injury update
The centre-back posted a video of his rehabilitation process that has uplifted the fans' hope of his comeback.
Timber shared the video on his Instagram page as reported by the Sun, and captioned it, "ProjectComeback 𝐕𝐨𝐥. ❷ Ⅰ Putting the work in."
In the video, he was seen doing a light workout with his leg and also doing some light stretching.
The video won the hearts of many fans with one saying, "We can’t wait to have you back on the pitch."
Another added, "Can’t wait to have you back."
Love Island star Marcel Somerville wrote, "Let’s goooooooo."
Mikel Arteta's defence was strengthened by the £38 million signing, who came from Ajax in the summer.
However, a concerning update from the Dutch publication AD stated that the international player from the Netherlands is probably not going to make the Euro 2024 squad.
