Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard welcomes first child with partner

Odegaard and Helene started dating a few years ago but only made their relationship public in 2023.

The couple has been seen together on several occasions and a few months ago, they announced that they were expecting their first child.

However, the birth of their first child had to wait until Arsenal’s 5-2 win over West Ham last weekend.

Odegaard, who recently returned to the Arsenal side after a long spell on the sidelines, has now had his first child with his partner.

On social media, his partner Helene posted a photo of the duo clutching the hand of the newborn.

The 28-year-old revealed the photo of the child on her Instagram account and added a caption, "We love you so much, our little baby boy."

The caption revealed that the couple gave birth to a baby boy and a family of two now has three.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the couple discreetly got married last month. Verdens Gang, a Norwegian publication, claims that the Arsenal player has updated his marital status on the national registry.

The professional ballroom dancer, with 17 gold medals in the Norwegian national championships, also updated her name to include Odegaard’s surname.
