Super Eagles of Nigeria were shocked at home by Guinea-Bissau in their first-leg match of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

Super Eagles of Nigeria fell to a shock 1-0 loss against Guinea Bissau in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

A composed finish from Mama Balde in the 29th minute ensured the visitors secured all three points against the three-time Africa Cup of Nations winners.
