The Nigeria Referees Association have summoned a total of 11 match officials to a referees' hearing committee following their questionable performance in the various tiers of the Nigerian leagues.
The 2023 league seasons at various instances, have seen referees in both Nigeria's top division: the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and the second tier: the Nigeria National League (NNL), been reprimanded for dubious actions while carrying out their duties.
Now, a new set of match officials have been summoned before the referee committee which is slated to hold at the Conference Hall of the Nigeria Football Federation headquarters, in Abuja, on Friday, May 19.
