Triple World champion Noah Lyles is a man on a mission as he has revealed the lofty ambitions he has as the 2024 track and field season picks up.
Speaking to World Athletics, Lyles disclosed that he would attack a world record, however, he did not specify which one. He has been vocal about shattering the 100m and 200m world records and even spoke about shattering the 4x100m world record.
The three records are held by Jamaicans with the 100m and 200m being held by Usain Bolt who shattered both at the 2017 World Championships. The 100m world record stands at 9.58 seconds while the 200m world record is 19.19 seconds.
The 4x100m relay world record is also held by the Jamaicans who clocked 36.84 to sprint to the finish line at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

“I’d like to see my docuseries get to about four episodes, instead of two this year.
“I’d like to see track meets with other athletes from other sports and even other stars showing up. I’d like to be able to see my personal goal this year come to fruition – I have a plan for this year and even though it’s going to be the very baby start of it, I’d like to see growth in it.
“I’d definitely like to see more walk ins – now that people have seen them, I feel that we can actually organise it a lot better and find the track meets that want to partner up with it. And let’s get some track meets in some major cities in the US – that’s truly what I want to see,” Lyles added.
