Kenya Simbas team captain George Nyambua has disclosed how they plan to conquer Uganda on their home ground.
The men’s national rugby 15s side Kenya Simbas team captain George Nyambua is confident that they will stun neighbours Uganda as they gear up for the Victoria Cup title decider at the King’s Park Arena in Bweyogerere, Kampala on Sunday.
The Simbas are just fresh from securing a 36-12 commanding win over Zambia in their opening match of the tournament and they will be keen to maintain the hot streak against their opponents.

Nyambua has, however, acknowledged that they are not an easy side to beat but with the strategies they have, they will surely stun their opponents.
“Tomorrow is a derby between Kenya and Uganda and we have had a long history with our neighbours.
The boys are ready and we have done our final preparations and polished up on our structures and everything.

Kenya Simbas have identified the areas they need to tighten before facing Uganda in their second Victoria Cup match which will also double up as the Elgon Cup opener on Sunday.
We have a plan that we are looking forward to sticking to…I know Uganda is a good side but with the plan that we have, we shall be able to outplay them,” bullish Nyambua said.
Nyambua also urged the Team Kenya fans to show up and support them as they look to upset the home talent.
“I’m calling out on all the Kenyan fans in Kampala to turn out in large numbers and come and support the boys. We shall be sure to put a smile on your face,” he concluded.
