Harambee Stars boss Benni McCarthy has outlined how the standards of the FKF Premier League are rising since he became national team coach.
Harper, who currently plays for EFL League Two side Walsall, received his first call-up in 2023 when Harambee Stars drew 2-2 with Russia in a friendly match that took place in Turkey. However, he did not make his debut.

“I’m more direct and more dynamic, and I have a lot of energy, so I can get up and down the pitch a lot,” Vincent Harper told reporters on Monday.
“It was very disappointing, but it made me work harder to come back, and thankfully, the managers trusted me and called me back. I want to get an appearance for the team so I can finally say I’ve played for Kenya.”
