Despite mourning the loss of Diogo Jota, Liverpool has returned to training to prepare for the 2025/26 season.

On the first day back, several Reds players and staff visited the garden surrounding Anfield Stadium, which has been transformed into a memorial for the Portuguese forward since his passing on Thursday, July 3.

Hours after Andrew Robertson's visit, manager Arne Slot and his wife paid their respects to Jota.

The Dutch manager laid a bouquet of flowers amid the sea of tributes left by thousands of fans at Anfield over the past few days.

The large bouquet of white flowers was accompanied by a heartfelt message from the Slot family.

"Diogo, we shared the same dreams and we achieved them together. You and Andre will always be in our hearts."

After gently placing the flowers on the grass, Slot knelt for a moment of reflection before standing, embracing his wife, and taking in the scene.

Shortly afterward, Fenway Sports Group director Michael Edwards also visited Anfield to pay his respects to Jota.
