The Brewers have released the Kilifi-born player as they create room for new arrivals.
Tusker FC have confirmed the departure of midfielder Shami Kibwana after two years at the club.
Kibwana became the latest name out of the exit door at the Robert Matano-coached side who have released seven players, the others being veteran midfielder and captain Humphrey Mieno, Jackson Macharia, Michael Wanjala, Kevin Monyi, David Majak, and Tanzanian defender Kalos Kirenge.

The winger has featured once for Harambee Stars in the 2-1 win over Zambia back in 2019.
Kibwana has been a great servant for the Brewers, scoring 10 goals while providing seven assists in his two seasons with the Ruaraka-based side.
He scored five goals while setting up four in the 2021-22 season before netting as many while providing three assists last term but that was not enough to convince Tusker to extend his stay.

Kibwana seems to have been preparing for life after Tusker anyway as he revealed last week that he has received a number of offers which he is still weighing before making up his mind.
"I am still on vacation at home in Kilifi but next week on Monday I will be in Nairobi. There are numerous teams that have initiated talks with me and I am looking forward to meeting with them hoping to make a good choice," Kibwana told Citizen Digital on Friday.
The attacking midfielder, who joined Tusker from Kakamega Homeboyz in September 2021, has also turned out for KCB and AFC Leopards.
Tusker are getting rid of the players Matano has no plans for to create room for new arrivals with Nzoia Sugar’s Joseph Mwangi, former KCB striker Henry Onyango, Ken Mutembei (Naivas FC), John Byamukana from Uganda’s Gaddafi FC, James Kibande of Kenya Police and Murang'a Seal’s Fabian Adikiny the players rumoured to be set to join them.
