Shabana realised a record amount from their match against Gor Mahia on Sunday, becoming the second highest recorded by an FKF Premier League club this season.
Shabana FC might have suffered a heartbreaking loss to Gor Mahia but their defeat soothed by the fact that they managed record revenues from gate collections.
The highly publicised FKF Premier League match lived up to the billing at Gusii Stadium, although violent clashes witnessed before kick off that left over 50 people nursing injuries, took the shine away from a football spectacle.
However, Gor Mahia did the job as Sylvester Owino’s late header at the back post made the difference, handing them three points and Nyanza Derby bragging rights.
