In the world of football, young talents often emerge from unexpected places, making a name for themselves and capturing the attention of fans and scouts alike. 

One such rising star is Felix Ochieng, an attacking midfielder from Vihiga Bullets in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL). 

In an exclusive interview, Ochieng opens up about his experiences, challenges, and aspirations, shedding light on his journey so far and his dreams for the future.

Reflecting on his first season at Vihiga Bullets, Felix acknowledged the difficulties he encountered. 

"It has not been an easy season at Vihiga Bullets. We've had challenges all through, but I can say God always has a plan for everything," Felix expressed. Despite the team's struggles, he remained resilient and gave his all on the pitch.

The disappointment of relegation hit Felix hard, especially considering it was his first season with the team.

The youngster has admitted feeling demoralized by the setback but emphasized the importance of perseverance. 

"Being relegated was a big blow to me, but I kept fighting till it was over. Playing at the top flight is always a privilege," Felix revealed.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Felix expressed his determination to continue playing at the highest level.

 "For the next season, I want to keep my target of playing at the top flight and improve on what I learned at Vihiga Bullets," Felix shared. 

Regarding potential transfer deals, Felix mentioned having discussions with two clubs FC  Talanta and Kakamega Homeboyz. 

While details about the offers were not disclosed, it highlights the recognition of his talent and the potential opportunities that lie ahead. 

The midfielder's performance and dedication have undoubtedly caught the attention of other clubs, further fueling his aspirations for success.

When asked about his long-term goals in football, Felix's ambition shone through. In five years, he envisions making a significant impact, both financially and as an inspiration to others. 

"We can't play forever, so in five years, God willing, I hope to have made something with football," Felix stated. 

The former Gusii United player emphasized the importance of utilizing his youth and learning years to establish a solid foundation. Representing his country at the national team level remains a cherished dream for him.
