Real Madrid have sent a stern warning to Arsenal ahead of their Champions League return match in which the Spanish giants are looking to overturn a three-goal deficit.
Real Madrid may be three goals down in their Champions League quarter-final tie with Arsenal but the Spanish giants are not letting up.
Madrid were thrashed 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium last week, when Mikel Arteta’s side staged a great second-half display, and the Premier League side have a comfortable lead to protect in the second leg in Spain.
However, the La Liga giants have stocked up the fires by warning the Gunners against expecting to walk away with a ticket to the semi-final in Wednesday’s return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Harambee Stars Defender Explains How Benni McCarthy Is Turning Him Into A ‘Beast’
Harambee Stars youngster Manzur Okwaro has opened up about the impact coach Benni McCarthy is having on his career despite working together for just a short time.
“Ninety minutes at the Bernabeu are very long,” Madrid posted on X, while repeating the message in several other languages.
The message is aimed at informing Arsenal to expect a tough night in the match with Carlo Ancelotti’s side still hopeful of overturning the three-goal deficit and sealing a place in the semi-final.
Madrid will be drawing inspiration from the feats achieved by other teams in the competition such as Liverpool and Barcelona.
In the 2005 final, Liverpool were trailing AC Milan 3-0 at halftime, but staged a second-half comeback to draw 3-3 and win the title on post-match penalties, while in 2020, the Premier League giants stunned Barcelona 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final, having lost 3-0 in the first leg.

Kasarani To Host Test Matches From June as Kipchoge Keino Stadium Receives Major Boost
The Government has hinted at using the Kasarani Stadium starting June ahead of the CHAN tournament.
Meanwhile, Barcelona lost 4-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Round 16 tie in 2017 in Paris but stunned the French giants 6-1 in the return leg to go through 6-5 on aggregate, in the most memorable comebacks in the competition’s history.
These are the heroics Real Madrid are looking to emulate on Wednesday night but have to do it against an Arsenal team that have not conceded more than two goals in the whole of this season.
