Kenya Police FC chairman is determined to lead the club to glory in the 2023/2024 Football Kenya Federation season.

Kenya Police FC chairman Nyale Munga has vowed that nothing will stand in the way of his club's quest to conquer the Football Kenya Federation Premier League.

Fondly referred to as "PSG" due to their penchant for high-profile signings reminiscent of French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, Kenya Police finished in a commendable third place last season, just seven points adrift of the champions, Gor Mahia.

Speaking at Kenya Police FC CEO's Breakfast, which was hosted at a Nairobi Hotel on Thursday morning, Munga, who has been at the forefront of transforming the club since 2021 when they earned promotion to the top flight, shared his remarkable journey with the club.

"I have been the club chairman for slightly over two years, and I have seen it grow from scratch," he said.

One of the standout achievements of the club under Munga's leadership is the construction of the Police Sacco Stadium, which hosts the club's home matches.

"This is only club in Kenya which can be proud of owning a stadium within a period of one year into (FKF)Premier League," Munga proudly proclaimed.

Munga extended an invitation to clubs and organizations interested in hosting their events at the stadium, emphasizing that they can partner with the club, as the revenues raised will help in maintenance works, stating, "If you want to use/hire it, especially for sports, you are very much invited."

With unwavering confidence in the team's potential, Munga concluded, "This is the club to watch, and with our coming together, we are going to clinch the Premier League, making it the talk of the town."

Police FC's transformation has been nothing short of remarkable.

The Law Enforcers have swiftly progressed from a ninth-place finish in their debut season to an impressive third-place finish in the league standings last year, all under Munga's leadership.

Their journey has been marked by standout individual performances, none more remarkable than Elvis Rupia, who, although he has since left the club, made history by scoring 27 goals in the league last season.

Rupia's feat shattered the all-time league record for most goals in a season, previously held by Boniface Ambani at 26 goals in 2006.

As the current season unfolds, Kenya Police FC currently occupies the ninth position on the league standings, amassing 14 points from 11 matches played.

While they may be eight points behind the table leaders, Posta Rangers, their determination remains undeterred.

Next on the agenda for the Law Enforcers is a highly anticipated clash against Nzoia Sugar at Sudi Stadium on Sunday.
