Sunday Oliseh has opened up about how he viewed PSG manager Luis Enrique during his playing days for Spain.

The Super Eagles legend played against the Spanish manager during the France 98 World Cup.

The game saw Nigeria defeat Spain 3-2 in their Group D clash, marking a significant victory for the Super Eagles

Oliseh scored the winning goal for Nigeria late in the game with a thunderous strike from outside the box.

Oliseh speaks on Enrique

During an interview, shared by HLTCO on X, Enrique spoke about his daughter and the memories they have together.

Enrique said, “My daughter came to live with us for 9 wonderful years. We have a thousand memories of her. My mum had no pictures of her. I said, “Mum, you have to. She’s alive if we remember her.”

He wrote, “In '98, I thought Luis Enrique was a sore loser for kneeing Jay Jay Okocha over his teasing dribbles as we led 3-2.

“But in 2015, at the Berlin stadium with my friend Giovanni, seeing him leave and ignore the Barcelona players' celebration after the UCL win, eyes only for his sick daughter, now gone, my heart broke. His love mirrors mine for my Shanice. 💔”

The Spaniard led his PSG team to the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League after beating Aston Villa and will face Arsenal.
