Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga kept his club Al Duhail’s hopes of silverware well on course when his two goals steered them to a big win in the Emir Cup.
Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga put in a man of the match display as he steered his club Al Duhail to the Emir Cup quarter-final on Monday.
Olunga scored twice as Al Duhail beat Al Sailiya 4-2 in the Round of 16 match to make it to the last eight of the competition, keeping alive their hopes of winning a trophy this season, after losing the league title by two points to Al Sadd last month.
Al Duhail completed the job in the first half when French midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud opened the scoring with a 27th minute penalty before Karim Boudiaf made it 2-0 three minutes later.
