Manchester United bounced back from their midweek disappointment in the Champions League with a victory over Luton.
It was another unconvincing performance for Erik ten Hag's side against newly promoted Luton, but a Victor Lindelof strike in the second-half ensured they took the maximum three points regardless.
The Red Devils made the Old Trafford a fortress again after two consecutive domestic defeats at home to Newcastle and Manchester City. The win saw Ten Hag's side rise to sixth on the log, and Luton risked dropping back to relegation places depending on results elsewhere.

Victor Lindelof replaced the injured Jonny Evans, and Sergio Regulon came in at left-back at the expense of Aaron Wan Bissaka. Other than that, Ten Hag named the same side as the one that lost in Denmark on Wednesday.
Manchester United started with a pop, meaning to right the wrong in the Champions League clash tonight, but despite their dominance, they failed to look truly threatening against the newly promoted side.
