Kenyan players played a crucial role in Nyasa Big Bullets' fifth straight Malawi Super League title win on the final day of the season against Silver Strikers FC.

Kenyan duo Clyde Senaji and Collins Okumu have become instrumental in Nyasa Big Bullets' historic fifth consecutive Malawi Super League title win.

The two defender's exceptional performance throughout the season culminated in a nail-biting final match showcasing their pivotal roles in the team's success.

Nyasa Big Bullets etched their name in the annals of the league's history by securing the title with a total of 60 points.

This victory, though, did notcome easy as the decisive game against Silver Strikers, coached by the esteemed Peiter De Jongh, was a tension-filled encounter that ended in a 1-1 draw.

However, this was enough for the Bullets to maintain their slender three-point lead at the top of the table and clinch the championship.

The match was a tactical battle, with both teams showcasing their strengths.

Big Bullets' Patrick Mwaungulu broke the deadlock in the 58th minute with a brilliant strike, connecting flawlessly with Ernest Petro's cross.

The lead, however, was short-lived as Silver Strikers fought back with Patrick Macheso's equalizer in the 71st minute, a perfect header from Chimwemwe Idana's free-kick.

The Kenyan duo, Senaji and Okumu, were at the heart of the Bullets' defensive line, playing every minute of the match with unwavering commitment and skill.

Their presence was a significant factor in the team's overall performance, showcasing their defensive prowess and ability to adapt to high-pressure situations.

Clyde Senaji, who joined the club on a free transfer in March after parting ways with Tusker FC, has quickly established himself as a key player in the Bullets' defense.

Similarly, Collins Okumu, with his experience from Thika United, Posta Rangers, and Bidco United, has proven to be a valuable asset for the team, adding depth and versatility to the squad.

This league victory marks the second trophy for the Kenyan duo this season, following their success in the FDH Bank Cup in August.

Their contribution has been a significant factor in Nyasa Big Bullets' dominant performance this season, blending seamlessly with the team's ethos and playing style.
