Fulham and Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi has singled out one Arsenal star for special praise this season.
Times have changed since Iwobi was strutting his stuff at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger. The club has been transformed under manager Mikel Arteta, so much so that they are now just two games away from a potential UEFA Champions League final.
Iwobi, who now plays his football for Fulham, still has friends from his time at Arsenal, including star player Bukayo Saka.

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi revealed that he almost joined Nottingham Forest in 2023 but the deal fell through.
In fact, Saka came on for Iwobi when he made his debut for Arsenal.
Speaking to UEFA, Iwobi has been discussing Saka’s rise to stardom at Arsenal, and he says it’s been amazing to see how much Saka has improved over the years.

"It’s so nice to see because he’s such a humble guy, he’s always been hardworking.
"There are so many talented players at Arsenal, but he was the one who would just work hard and get on with it.
"It’s amazing to see how he’s blossomed into the player he is and the man he is,” Iwobi said.
Saka will be keen to continue his meteoric rise when Arsenal battle Ligue 1 champions PSG in an epic semi-final double-header, and continue to make Iwobi and Arsenal fans proud.
