Haller only resumed training in the new year, but o the evidence of the Basell outing, it will not be long before Dortmund can finally call on their €31 million summer signing to make his competitive debut for the club.

Their first chance to do so will come when the Bundesliga resumes on the 22nd of January and Dortmund host Augsburg looking to improve their league position of sixth in the Bundesliga.
