Everton crumbled at Goodison Park against Man United despite creating most of the chances in the game.

Man United were looking to continue their good run of form before the international break with a trip to Goodison Park.

The Red Devils were able to secure a 3-0 victory over the Toffees despite not being at their best in the game.

Garnacho got the visitors an early lead with a tremendous overhead kick in the first half before Rashford added the second from the penalty spot and Martial made it three in the second half.

As it happened

Everton made one change from the side that beat Crystal Palace before the international break and it is an enforced one with Idrissa Gueye starting.

Ten Hag on the other hand made three changes to the side that edged past Luton Town last time out.

Teenage midfielder Kobbie Mainoo makes his first Premier League start, with left-back Luke Shaw also returning following a long spell out through injury.

The game started with much intensity from both teams but it was Man United that scored the first goal within the first five minutes of the game.

Diogo Dalot lifted a cross from the right wing and Garnacho hit a stunning overhead kick with big similarities to that of Wayne Rooney against Man City years ago.

Everton tried to put pressure on Man United after the stunning goal but all could not get the equaliser despite the amount of chances created.

The referee blew the whistle for halftime with both teams going into the break separated by Garnacho’s overhead kick.

The second half started with Everton looking to continue from where they left off and putting Man United under pressure.

Despite Everton’s effort to get the equaliser, it was Man United that added the second goal of the game from the penalty spot.

United striker Anthony Martial was brought down by Ashley Young's leg in the box and Martial tried to take advantage of it.

After VAR check, the penalty was awarded and Rashford stepped up to take it and slotted the ball past Pickford.
