FKF president Hussein Mohammed led stakeholders in congratulating Junior Starlets following their deserved 2-0 win over Uganda on Saturday.
Junior Starlets took a big step in their bid to qualify for the second consecutive World Cup by beating Uganda 2-0 in the first leg of the qualifiers.
The match, played at the Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo in Uganda on Saturday afternoon, saw Kenya put in a classy, all-round performance courtesy of first half goals.

Goals from Edinah Nasipwondi and Joan Ogola was all that the Mildred Cheche-coached side required to silence their rivals in their own backyard with the second leg set for Nairobi on March 16.
