FC Bayern Munchen have finally unveiled their all-red home kit for the 2024/25 season.

FC Bayern Munchen have released their new jersey for the 2024/25 season and much to the relief of the Bayern fans, the Bundesliga giants are finally ditching their ‘cursed’ white theme jersey.

After releasing the white-themed jersey, it corresponded to somewhat of an awful season for the men in red. They have now lost all chances for domestic silverware this season, losing their 11-year reign of the Bundesliga to stellar performances from Leverkusen who are now the champions.

The only opportunity left for silverware is the Champions league although they have a mountain to climb as they await to travel visit Los Blancos on Wednesday.

Bayern have quickly gone back to the drawing board to amend their domestic shortcomings and they are starting with their traditional triple red kit that includes a red shirt, shorts, and socks. The club says that the new kit reflects the heartbeat and passion that unites the players on the pitch with the fans in the stands.

“This new kit will feature three different shades of red representing identity, emotion, and the drama of the game. Red has been more than just a color for FC Bayern for over 100 years.

“The trio of the shades is also a tribute to FC Bayern, the only German men’s team to have won the treble of Bundesliga, DFB Cup, and the Champions League,” a statement from the club read.

The club are also keen to point out that they are now the first top-level German club to adorn their new kit with a QR code, which is printed on the sleeve and allows fans to access digital content provided by their stadium sponsor Allianz.

Bayern fans will have to take this unique feature as a runner’s up prize, hoping this will be the beginning of a turnaround and a comeback for the giants who have appeared to be asleep this season.

The kit will be worn in a match for the first time in the women’s DFB- Pokal final against Wolfsburg on Thursday, May 9 before the men’s team turn out in it for their final home game of the season three days later against Wolfsburg.
