Double-delight for Thomas Partey as he becomes a father amidst expected return to full training this week.

Ghana and Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is now a father after welcoming a baby girl into his family with partner Janine Mackson.

Mackson posted a photo of her and Partey’s hands holding the baby and accompanied it with the caption “the biggest blessing”.

Last October, both Partey and his girlfriend made it public that they were expecting a baby girl in a viral instagram post.

Partey was seen being handed a small ball, which he kicked into the air in one of the posts.

When the ball burst, pink powder emerged from it, which widely signifies the female gender during such events.

Earlier in October, Janine confirmed being pregnant by posting a photo of her baby bump. The model and influencer captioned the photos “New beginnings”, with Partey commenting beneath “God did.”

Meanwhile, the couple have been dating for some time now but managed to keep their relationship private and away from the eyes of the public until Janine’s pregnancy.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are set to receive a huge boost with the Ghanaian midfielder set to resume training within the week having been sidelined for the past 12 Premier League matches due to a hamstring injury he suffered in October.

Partey was sidelined having just returned to the side’s matchday squad against Chelsea after recovering from a previous groin injury that caused him to miss four league games.

Thomas Partey’s injury has forced him to miss the Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana. Unfortunately, Ghana’s Black Stars have been eliminated from the competition at the group stage after Cameroon’s victory over Gambia.

Partey might be included in the matchday squad for Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.

The midfielder aims to make his comeback in the upcoming clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Tuesday night.

Additionally, there are reports that versatile defender Jurrien Timber may return from injury before the end of the season.
