Arsenal have reportedly made contact with a £185,000-a-week 'superstar' as they continue their pursuit of midfield reinforcements.

Despite their expected acquisition of Martin Zubimendi, the Gunners face potential departures from Jorginho and Thomas Partey, creating a need for midfield reinforcements.

At the moment, Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery's situation, according to sources.

While Arsenal's pursuit of Norwegian talent Sverre Nypan was thwarted by Manchester City, the club has explored other options, including Atletico Madrid's Pablo Barrios, who recently signed a new contract. Now, Zaire-Emery has emerged as a potential target.

Arsenal Have Inquired About Warren Zaire-Emery

Reports suggest Arsenal have inquired about Warren Zaire-Emery's availability. The 19-year-old's playing time has diminished in 2025, starting only half of PSG's matches since the turn of the year. He currently sits behind Joao Neves and Vitinha in manager Luis Enrique's midfield pecking order.

Despite having four years remaining on his PSG contract, Zaire-Emery's limited opportunities have attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, all of whom have previously tracked the young talent. Barcelona and Bayern Munich have also reportedly made inquiries, but PSG appears unwilling to let him go.

Warren Zaire-Emery is reportedly determined to fight for his place at PSG. Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger previously praised the youngster's talent, comparing him to Kylian Mbappé, whom Wenger described as "unstoppable."

In a 2023 interview with Le Parisien, Wenger stated: "We're speaking of a boy gifted with super talent. He has blossomed exceptionally early... When, at 17, your manager at club level chooses you as one of the first names on the team sheet, that implies that you exude something that is unstoppable."

Arsenal have also reportedly considered Sevilla's Lucien Agoume and Lille's Ayyoub Bouaddi as potential midfield additions.
