Vihiga Queens maintain their stay at the summit of the standings.
Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League (FKFWPL) action continued on Saturday afternoon with four matches taking place across the country.
Gaspo Women were at home to Kangemi Ladies, looking to overturn their goalless draw against Nakuru City Queens last weekend.
In another match of the day, Kayole Stralet visited Vihiga Queens away in Mumias, and Ulinzi Stralets were looking for their eighth win of the season.
Gaspo Women 6-1 Kangemi Ladies
Gaspo Women showed character and grit to wallop a reckless Kangemi Ladies team to keep their FKFWPL title ambitions alive at the GEMS International School.
Gaspo began the match well as they pressed Kangemi, but they were wasteful with Elizabeth Wambui and Nuru Hadima missing the target.
The hosts grew into the game and they should have taken the lead when Diana Wachera was sent through on goal, but she was denied by Kangemi goalkeeper Velam Okinyo.
However, the deadlock was broken in the 43rd minute when Lydia Akoth sent a powerful shot from outside the area to make it 1-0.
It was soon 2-0 to Gaspo when former Mathare Women striker Diana Wachera drove in a curling effort that beat the Kangemi custodian.
The visitors crumbled when Gaspo exerted pressure at the start of the second stanza as Nuru Hadima made it 3-0 in the 58th minute. Emily Okute delivered an exquisite cross which was slotted home by Nuru as the ruthless marksman displayed her prowess.
Kangemi's defense was at sixes and sevens as they conceded their fourth goal at the hour mark. This time Lavyne Anyango played a low cross for AnnArusi, who finished with aplomb to make it 4-0.
The hosts missed a penalty in the 80th minute when a Kangemi Ladies defender handled the ball inside the area. Leah Cherotich's spot-kick was punched out of play by the goalkeeper.
Okinyo was beaten for the fifth time when Arusi scored a brace in the 86th minute before Wachera added her second in the closing minutes of the game to make it 6-0.

Fresh from a 3-1 win over Kolwa Falcons the previous weekend, coach Boniface Nyamunyamu's women had to retain the full three points in front of their home crowds at the Mumias Sports Complex.
In the 24th minute, they managed to find the back of the net through Anita Namata who signaled the hosts' intentions.
Towards the 70th minute, second-half substitute Maurine Achieng made it 2-0 as they continued to dominate Kayole, who recently dropped half of their squad in the current transfer window.

FOOTBALL Vihiga Queens and Zetech Sparks advance in FKF Women’s Cup
Six FKF Women's Cup matches were played on Sunday across the country.
With ten minutes remaining to the end of the match, Providence Khasiala made it 3-0 for the hosts to ensure they reaffirmed their dominance in the clash.
The result leaves Queens at the top of the table with 28 points from 13 league matches, while Kangemi remains at the bottom of the log without a single point from the same number of games.

City Queens were looking to return to winning ways after being held to a goalless draw by Gaspo Women in their previous match away a week ago.
Coach Chrisphine Wesonga's troops were pressured to keep up with fellow FKFWPL title chasers and had to rectify their ways to ensure they walked away with a win at the Nakuru Show Grounds.
Queens were the better side throughout the match and scored easy goals courtesy of Stacy Koech, Melon Mulindi, and Jeal Selano.
Trans Nzoia Falcons 2-3 Ulinzi Stralets
In another match of the day, Ulinzi Starlets played to a nervy 3-2 win over Trans Nzoia Falcons in a clash staged at Ndura Sports Complex in Kitale.
The win took Ulinzi Starlets to the third spot on the league standings - three points behind table leaders Vihiga Queens, while relegation-threatened Trans Nzoia Falcons remained stagnant at the ninth spot.
