Imane Khelif is making headlines because of gender eligibility, an issue that broke into the global scene at the Paris Olympic Games.
As reported by the Daily Mail, there are results of a medical test on Imane Khelif at the 2023 World Championships that strongly suggest that she is biologically male.
It was further reported that those results came after the World Boxing Federation made a ruling that Imane Khelif would need sex screening to be eligible for any future appearances in female events.

It was noted that the document came from Dr Lal PathLabs in New Delhi, an accredited laboratory by the American College of Pathologists. The lab has also been certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation.

Imane Khelif would later beat Yang Liu of China 5:0 in the final of the women’s welterweight division, sealing the Olympic campaign with a dominant victory.
