Now that they have qualified for the World Athletics Relays, Ferdinand Omanyala requested the government to provide all the necessary support, from finances to training grounds to make their preparation seamless.
He noted that the World Championships will not be as easy as climbing a sugar candy and they have to brace themselves for a tough show, adding that the support from the government will play a huge role.
“I mean, now it’s just getting down to business. I'm sure the country has seen, so they need to give the boys the opportunities financially and whatever we want to ask for,” Ferdinand Omanyala said after the race.
“Especially the camps, the training camps, we need to be given that because the world championships, to be sure, is not going to be a walk in the park.”
