Faith Kipyegon stands to receive millions from Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian as she takes on a historic challenge in the mile.

Faith Kipyegon is set for a bumper reward from Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams' husband, if she manages to go under four minutes in the mile.

The double world champion (1500m and 5000m) will be attempting to become the first woman to finish a mile in under four minutes.

Faith Kipyegon is the current world record holder over the distance following the 4:07.64 she clocked at the 2023 Diamond League Meeting in Monaco.
