She represented Kenya at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup and the 2020 Olympic Games.

Malkia Strikers' opposite attacker Sharon Chepchumba has joined Greek giants PAOK Thessaloniki.

The 24-year-old former KCB player joins the club from another Greek top-flight outfit Aris Thessaloniki.

"I am very happy to join the Black and White PAOK family. I thank the management and the coaching staff for their trust. I wish you a successful season, with health and joy," she said while unveiling.

Chepchumba emerged top scorer in her first campaign at the Greek Women's Volleyball League last season.

The natural outside hitter turned opposite attacker started her career in the 2017-18 campaign with Kenya Prisons, where she stayed for a season before being snapped by Kenya Pipeline.

During her stay at Oilers, Chepchumba won the Kenya Volleyball Championship title and a bronze in the African Club Championship.

Chepchumba's impressive career trajectory saw her move to Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in 2019-2020, where she continued to excel on the volleyball court.

Unfortunately, the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that did not deter her from making her mark when the games resumed.

During her time at KCB, Chepchumba showcased her talent and determination, contributing significantly to the team's success.

She played a crucial role in helping KCB secure the Kenyan Volleyball Championship and an African Club Championship title.

The accomplishments further solidified her reputation as a skilled and accomplished player within the Kenyan volleyball scene.

Chepchumba's consistent performance and invaluable contributions on the court have earned her the opportunity to join Greek giants PAOK Thessaloniki, where she is expected to continue her impressive journey in the sport.

She has represented Kenya at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup and the 2021 Olympic Games.
