The player has been suspended from tennis for four years for doping.
Just a day after Croatian Lauro Milanović received a draconian punishment, Tara Moore has met the same fate, despite being cleared of charges by an independent tribunal 18 months ago.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) delivered the verdict, following an appeal by the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) against the previous acquittal.

Djokovic Finds Respite in Montenegro After Tough Wimbledon Defeat
Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic was spotted in Montenegro on Monday, resting after his Wimbledon campaign.
Tara's four-year suspension is effective immediately, but will be reduced by 19 months, the time she has already spent provisionally suspended since the case began.
"For the ITIA, every case is considered according to the individual facts and circumstances,” ITIA chief executive officer Karen Moorhouse said.
“Our bar for appealing a first instance decision is high, and the decision is not taken lightly.“In this case, our independent scientific advice was that the player did not adequately explain the high level of nandrolone present in their sample. Today’s ruling is consistent with this position. We understand that players and their support teams may have questions about this decision, and we will answer these fully once we have reviewed the details of the ruling.”
Moore tested positive for banned substances after providing a sample at the Copa Colsanitas tournament in Bogotá in April 2022.
