Tennis legend Venus Williams has sparked engagement rumors after being seen with a dazzling diamond ring on her left hand while enjoying time with Italian actor and filmmaker Andrea Preti in Rome this week.
The 44-year-old, known for her dominance on the tennis court, has been romantically linked to the 36-year-old since last summer when the two were first spotted vacationing in Nerano on the Amalfi Coast. Now, less than a year later, speculation is swirling that wedding bells could be on the horizon.
Venus and Preti appeared completely at ease as they strolled through the streets of Rome, holding hands and sharing affectionate moments.
The former world No. 1, standing at an impressive 6ft 1in, rested her head on her beau’s shoulder in a cozy embrace—barely needing to reach up, as he is just an inch taller. Their chemistry was evident as they exchanged kisses while walking side by side.
Though the exact timeline of their relationship remains unclear, their trip to Nerano in July 2024 was their first public appearance together.

“I've had a single life for a long time, and I think it's really easy to get stuck in a single life and sometimes – at least for me – harder to get out,” she admitted.
