Where to watch Mary Moraa face US star Shamier Little in 400m and Shericka Jackson go for Flo Jo's world record tonight
Two-time World 200m champion Shericka Jackson will be in action at the Diamond League Meeting in Brussels, Belgium on Friday, September 8 with the hope of breaking the late Florence Joyner’s world record.
Jackson will be the highlight of the event but other stars will also be in action. Olympic champion Elaine Thompson will be in action in the 100m, competing in her second Diamond League Meeting so far this season.
Abel Kipsang will also go head-to-head with Norwegian Jakob Ingebrigtsen who will be attempting to break the 2000m world record. Kisii Express Mary Moraa will also be competing in the 400m with the hope of extending her hot streak.
The Meeting in Brussels will be the last chance for some athletes to earn points and qualify for the final.
The action will start at 8:15pm East African Time with the men's pole vault and the main programme will kick off at 9:00pm EAT with the women's 400m.
The meeting will be streamed in a number of territories on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page from 8:00 p.m. EAT. The livestream will NOT be available in all territories.
The event will also be broadcast live on SuperSport Variety 4, channel 209 on DSTV in a number of African English-speaking countries including Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Africa.
