Arsenal have reportedly received a definite answer on how much it would cost them to land their top summer transfer target, West Ham’s Declan Rice.
West Ham require English record fee for midfielder
Reports coming out of England suggest that West Ham will ask Arsenal and any other suitors for a fee of up to £100 million for Rice, who is expected to depart the Hammers this summer.
Arsenal are the prime destination for Rice in the summer, with the Gunners believed to be long-time admirers of the English midfielder.

If Arsenal want to land their prized target, they will need to equal the record transfer fee for an English player, set by Jack Grealish’s move to Manchester City in 2021.
Arsenal require major signings to reach next level
Arsenal view signing a player like Declan Rice as the next step in their recent progression, with the team needing a young, experienced marquee signing to push the team to the next level.
Arsenal were in the tile race for the majority of the 2022/23 season, but lost steam towards the end of the campaign after suffering a number of injuries to key players.
The Gunners are hoping to avoid a repeat of this next season and will be looking for signings like Rice to complement the team and add required quality.
