Brazil sensation Endrick was the match-winner in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Euro 2024 co-favourites England at Wembley Stadium.
England 0-1 Brazil
The game was one of the final tune-up fixtures for both nations, who partake in continental cup competitions in the summer. Gareth Southgate’s England seek to claim the European Championship for the first time, while Brazil aim for their first Copa America crown since 2019 and the Selecao’s 10th.
Saturday’s game looked to be ending goalless, but the youngster, introduced in place of Rodrygo in the 71st minute, latched onto the rebound from Vinicius Junior’s initial effort saved by Jordan Pickford to score into an unguarded net with nine minutes remaining.

Endrick could have added to his first international goal but was thwarted by Pickford moments after his 80th-minute strike.
What comes next for Endrick and Brazil?
Dorival Junior could play the Real Madrid-bound sensation from the off when Brazil take on Spain on Tuesday in their final match of the international break. The Selecao reconvene at the end of the season, with their Copa America campaign to begin on June 24.
