Former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly in advanced talks with Monaco as he seeks a return to professional football.
The French World Cup winner, aged 32, appears poised for a return to his homeland, with discussions progressing with the Ligue 1 side.
Reports suggest that negotiations have focused on the midfielder signing a two-year contract with Monaco.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the club hope to finalise the agreement with the midfielder and Spain forward Ansu Fati sooner rather than later, concluding discussions that have been ongoing for several weeks.

Why was Pogba banned?
Pogba was provisionally suspended after a random test following Juventus' opening game of the 2023-24 season.
He subsequently received a four-year ban, which was later reduced to 18 months following a successful appeal in October.
The Frenchman’s suspension officially concluded in March, and he agreed to a mutual termination of his contract with Juventus in November.
What’s next for Monaco?
Monaco, who ended third behind champions Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille in the 2024-25 season, return to pre-season next month.
The Fontvieille-based outfit will be involved in next season's Champions League by virtue of their league finish.
