Chelsea's new away jersey for the 2024–2025 campaign has been revealed, and it stands in sharp contrast to the home uniform that was introduced earlier this month.
Supporters haven't been very fond of the home kit, which had a striking new design.
New Chelsea away jersey explained
Nike chose a much more understated and modern design for the away kit after going with a striking look for the home kit.
The shirt's primary color is light beige; it has a blue collar and side trim, and orange accents on the sleeve, badge, and Nike logo.
The orange accent color symbolizes fire and the club's collective aspiration, blazing desire, and resolve to excel on and off the field. The away shirt carries over the motif of this year's home uniform, "blue flame." We Burn Blue Together.
A woven fabric in "guava ice," a paler shade of orange, is featured on the shirt and shorts, contributing to a fresh, modern, and fashionable look.
A different kind of fire.

To create contrast and a link to the home kit, which also has the colors that have become so associated with the team's uniforms over the years, both are emphasized by "team orange" and "rush blue" trims.
Reactions state that while Nike did a fantastic job creating one of the best away uniforms in recent memory, Chelsea may not necessarily achieve success.
To introduce the outfit, the Blues posted a video on social media that was filmed in San Jose and included some of the players.

We are excited to present the Chelsea away uniform for the upcoming campaign, in collaboration with club kit partner Nike, as the Blues' pre-season tour continues to progress throughout the United States.
After a draw against Wrexham, Chelsea are expected to debut their new away in their next pre-season game against Club America.
