AC Milan are narrowing down their striker search ahead of the 2025/26 season, with Nigerian duo Victor Boniface and Tolu Arokodare reportedly leading the Rossoneri’s wishlist.

Also under serious consideration is Chelsea’s out-of-favour forward Nicolas Jackson, who may be heading for a Stamford Bridge exit just one season after arriving.

Boniface the top target but comes with hefty price tag

Victor Boniface has emerged as the number one option for AC Milan, but landing the Bayer Leverkusen star won’t be easy.

The Nigerian forward is under contract until 2028, and despite suffering a significant injury setback last November, his performances have kept his valuation sky-high.

Boniface scored 11 goals in 27 games for the Bundesliga side, showcasing the kind of movement, strength, and finishing touch Milan want in a long-term centre-forward.

Director of sport Igli Tare is said to be a big admirer of Boniface, and sees him as the perfect player to lead Milan’s new attacking era.

However, with Leverkusen in a strong negotiating position and unwilling to accept anything less than top dollar, Milan are forced to explore alternatives while also trying to offload unwanted squad members to raise funds.

Arokodare and Jackson among strong alternatives

The 6’4” Genk striker had a standout season in Belgium, scoring 23 goals and adding 7 assists across all competitions. His €18 million price tag makes him an attractive option in today’s inflated market, and his physical style aligns perfectly with Milan’s desire for a powerful frontman.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson is also on Milan’s radar, with reports from Fabrizio Romano confirming Milan’s enquiry. Chelsea are open to parting ways with the Senegalese attacker, though his current price remains a stumbling block.

Jackson, who struggled with consistency during his time at Stamford Bridge, could still be handed a fresh start in Serie A if the numbers align.
