Shujaa, Lionesses to play in Dubai in December ahead of crunch 2024 Challenger Series as fixtures announced

Shujaa will be using the tournament to prepare for the Challenger Series in 2024 in their quest to win back promotion to the World Series.

Both the men and women’s national sevens sides, Shujaa and Lionesses, will be taking part in the Dubai 7s International Invitation tournaments, at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai, UAE from December 1-3, 2023.

The tournament will run concurrently with the World Rugby Sevens Series,

In the Women’s International Invitation Category, the Lionesses find themselves in Pool B, alongside Ireland Invitational, USA Falcons, Rhino Stompers, and French Militaire Sevens.

Kisia divulges why Shujaa have looked unstoppable since relegation from World Series

Their campaign kicks off on Friday, December 1, at 5:40 pm against Ireland Invitational.

Subsequently, they will then face the Rhino Stompers at 7:20 pm on the same day, followed by a match against French Militaire Sevens at 3:20 pm on Saturday.

They will then play their final match against the USA Falcons at 7:00 pm on the same day.

Shujaa are placed in Pool C of the men’s category, alongside Speranza 22, R10C Selects, and Wailers.

After starting their pool campaign at 2:40 pm EAT on Friday, December 1, against R1OC Selects, they will then play a match against Wailers at 2:20 pm on Saturday, December 2, and finish their pool stage with a clash against Speranza 22 at 5:00 pm on the same day.
