Napoli’s Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had been named Serie A Player of the Month for March, winning his third monthly accolade in his debut Season in Italy’s top flight.
Kvaratskhelia has been exceptional for Napoli in the 2022/23 season, scoring 12 goals and laying on 12 assists in only 23 appearances for the club.

In March, Kvaratskhelia notched three goal contributions in three games, including the spectacular Serie A goal of the month against Atalanta in the 2-0 victory.
The Georgian winger has helped Napoli to an 18-point gap at the top of the Serie A table, with the Partenopei on their way to a first Serie A title since 1990.

Nicknamed after the last man to lead Napoli to Serie A glory, ‘Kvaradona’ is already getting shouts for the Serie A player of the year after what is already an outstanding season for the 22-year-old.
Kvaratskhelia claims back-to-back award
Kvaratskhelia beat off opposition from Napoli teammate Kim Min-jae, Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente, Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot and Udinese’s Destiny Udogie to pick up back-to-back player of the month awards after also claiming the February award.
The Napoli frontman will pick up the award on April 2nd at the Estadio Diego Maradona in front of teeming fans ahead of Napoli’s encounter with AC Milan in Serie A.
Kvaratskhelia's impressive form has earned him a new Napoli contract with the frontman extending his contract until 2027 to ward off potential suitors as Napoli are unwilling to let go of their Georgian gem any time soon.
