The Barcelona president’s comments suggest that the striker’s exit is sealed when his current deal expires, barring a remarkable U-turn.
Lewandowski ending Barcelona journey
Lewandowski’s current contract with Barcelona expires in 2026, meaning the veteran striker still has two years left in Catalonia if he does not secure a move away from the club.
The former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich striker has been with Barcelona since 2022 and has played 95 matches, scoring 59 goals and helping the Blaugrana to the LaLiga title as well as the Supercopa de Espana in his first season.
