Remo Stars having 'priceless' time rubbing shoulders with Man United, Arsenal
Remo Stars academy coach Ajibolade Olumide is happy with his team's experience and evolution in the United States of America, USA.
Olumide told Pulse Sports Nigeria from God’s own country where his Beyond Limits boys are currently taking part in the famous MLS NEXT tournament.
Beyond Limits are competing in the U-17 category of the competition and have already qualified for the knockout stage.
The No Limits boys joined the big boys in the next round, winning two of their three games, with four goals scored, two conceded and a clean sheet to finish second.
Remo Stars having a priceless time
In an exclusive chat with Pulse Sports Nigeria, coach Olumide stated that his No Limits boys are enjoying a priceless time in the MLS NEXT.
According to the tactician regarded as one of the best in the country, the opportunity to rub shoulders with European giants like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Real Madrid amongst others has been priceless.
Speaking on the invaluable lessons from the MLS NEXT, so far, the gaffer, who is the holder of a UEFA C license and MBP certified, had this to say;
“All through their careers, the evolution of their mind on what is possible,” Olumide began.
“It’s not TCC level of competition, it’s a different level of organization, physicality, pressure, and demands a big mentality. Dealing with an inferiority complex, and challenging their fears. It’s a lot and a priceless opportunity.”
“14 years old Nigerian kids rubbing shoulders with their counterparts from Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid etc. We stay in the same hotel and I am glad to just watch them meet new people, and interact.”
Beyond Limits’ journey so far
Remo Stars' Beyond Limits have scored in all their matches at the MLS NEXT, with an average of over 1.3 goals per game.
Muyideen Olude was the star and hero as Remo Stars Academy Beyond Limits sealed their first full points at the ongoing MLS NEXT to advance to the next round of the competition.
Olude scored a brilliant brace to inspire Beyond Limits to a comfortable 2-0 win over Timbers FC on Monday night.
A dominant display from the Nigerian side saw the talented youngster prove to be the difference, scoring in either half to help the Limits to their first three points in the competition.
Olude was the tormentor-in-chief for the No Limits boys and was denied a hat-trick by the word work. As early as the 15th minute, the youngster rattled the Timbers' post before he finally broke the deadlock to put them ahead just before the break.
Eight minutes into the second half, it was done and dusted as Olude got his brace to double the lead for Beyond which they held on to for the decisive win, their first full three points at the MLS NEXT after the first two games were decided via penalties.

With their first full points sealed, Remo Stars booked a spot in the knockout round of the MLS competition and will look to advance as far as possible.
