Olude masterclass gifts Remo Stars academy first full points at MLS NEXT
Muyideen Olude was the star and hero as Remo Stars academy Beyond Limits sealed their first full points at the ongoing MLS NEXT in the United States of America.
Olude scored a brilliant brace to inspire Beyond Limits to a comfortable 2-0 win over Timbers FC on Monday night.
A dominant display from the Nigerian side saw the talented youngster prove to be the difference, scoring in either half to help the Limits to their first three points in the competition.
Beyond Limits rewarded for dominance
In a match that the Nigerian side dominated and could have won by a bigger margin, Timbers FC would be happy it ended in just two goals.
Olude was the tormentor-in-chief for the No Limits boys and was denied a hat-trick by the word work. As early as the 15th minute, the youngster rattled the Timbers' post as Beyond looked to break the deadlock.
But Olude's chance was preceded by another good chance for the Remo boys through Kparobo Anehri.
Five minutes after that, Timbers got their first and best chance of the game but goalkeeper Favour Aputaziem produced an excellent save to keep his side in the game.
Breakthrough moment
And two minutes before the break, the Ikenne boys finally found a way behind the Timbers' defence after much resilience.

Eight minutes into the second half, it was done and dusted as Olude got his brace to double the lead for Beyond which they held on to for the decisive win, their first full three points at the MLS NEXT after the first two games were decided via penalties.
What the result means
With their first full points sealed, Remo Stars booked a spot in the knockout round of the MLS competition and will look to advance as far as possible.
There are no games slated for today in the competition, with Beyond to find out their next opponents later today when the draw for the knockout stage is held.
