Raphael Onyedika: Super Eagles midfielder on target for Club Brugge

In the Jupiler Pro League, Club Brugge easily defeated St. Truiden 7-0 thanks to a goal from Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika.

The youngster who received a red card in a Champions League grabbed his first goal of the season after returning from Nigeria at the international break.

In the 51st minute, the 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder took advantage of a Chemsdine Talbi assist to score Brugge's fifth goal.

Greek striker Christos Tzolis stole the show with a first-half hat trick, scoring in the 12th, 22nd, and 42nd minutes, making this decisive victory a perfect outing for Brugge.

Two minutes into the second half, Tzolis added a fourth goal to further solidify Brugge's lead.

Although he gave his teammates opportunities, he could have contributed more if the forwards had taken advantage of his superb deliveries.

Hans Vanaken completed the scoring to complete the thrashing after Ardon Jashari made it six after Onyedika's goal.

Onyedika was replaced by Casper Nielsen after playing 58 minutes in the game ahead of a Champions League midweek clash.
