The African champions kicked off the competition with a strong win against Australia but suffered a setback against hosts France.

Canada, on the other hand, has faced consecutive losses to France and Australia, making Sunday's match a crucial encounter for both teams.
Wakama said that the team's priority is winning against Canada, "We are focused on winning our game against Canada. A victory will secure our place in the knockout round," Wakama said.
Despite the disappointing loss to France, Wakama remains optimistic about her team's chances. "While we are disappointed with the result against France, we are motivated to put in a strong performance against Canada."
In their final group match against Canada, D'Tigress has everything at stake.
Australia bounced back from their opening-round loss at the 2024 Women's Olympic Basketball Tournament by defeating Canada 70-65, claiming their first victory.
As a result, France has qualified with two wins, while Nigeria and Australia compete for second place.
