Spurs already have a squad with a number of AFCON-eligible African footballers like Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr and recent acquisition Mohamed Kudus. They are set to make more additions.

The details

According to Florian Plettenberg, as related by Team Talk, Spurs have Ademola Lookman and Semenyo on their radar, as they remain intent on signing a wide forward.

While Xavi Simons was signed with the intention of filling the role, the continued absence of James Madison and Dejan Kulusevski has seen the Dutchman take up positions in the hole.

The report claims that Tottenham was a reliable winger on the left, and along with Lookman and Semenyo, they are also keeping tabs on Brantford's Kevin Schade.

Atletico Madrid's interest

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are reportedly readying to make a return for Lookman in the January transfer window after failing to land the former Fulham man in the summer.

The 27-year-old pushed to leave Atalanta in the summer, with a move to Inter on his mind; however, the Nerazzurri failed to match La Dea's ask, with the Bergamo-based club drawing a hard line. He has been reintegrated with the squad, but his future remains up in the air.
