On the move? Ex-Super Eagles star and AFCON winner Ideye spotted at lower league Atlantic Business

Former Super Eagles striker and 2013 AFCON winner Brown Ideye was the special guest as lower league side Atlantic Business FC clinched a spot in the N-Youth League final with a commanding 3-1 victory over Mailantarki Care FC at Onikan Stadium.

The entertaining Atlantic Business side delivered a masterclass, securing their place in the final with a game to spare. 

Ideye, a free agent after parting ways with NPFL giants Enyimba, was in attendance to celebrate Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong’s foundation event on Sunday but returned to the stadium amid rumors of a potential move.

Taking to social media, Ideye expressed gratitude for the invitation, writing, “Thank you @AtlanticBFC for the invite and congratulations on your win today. Watched a match.”

The Business club proved just too good and strong for Care FC, dominating from start to finish and putting on a show in front of Ideye.

Atlantic Business took the lead in the first half through captain Dimeji Kilani, who finished brilliantly after a fine setup by Shekinah Michael. 

Oluwatobi Gbenga sealed the win with a stunning free-kick, curling home a beauty to spark wild celebrations.

The Nigerian icon’s presence added extra excitement to an already thrilling encounter, leaving fans buzzing about his next move.
